I went and did what may prove to be a dumb thing. I ordered the Tanabe springs listed for the Versa from that dude on e-Bay. We’ll see if A) they ever show up and 2) they are the right ones eventually, I suppose. I've also been thinking about tunes for Mr. Wiggly. I think I'll just slap an old head unit in and run some of those enclosed speaker boxes. Come to think of it, I have a pair of metal enclosed speakers gathering dust on the shelf at home. Perhaps I can mount them on the walls pointing at my head. I think there is an old Ford Ranger AM/FM radio in my garage that was removed from my 1996. I think mom’s tape player from her Maxima might be there as well. Then again, a new head unit wouldn’t be all that expensive. What I ought to do is steal the tape deck from George and plan to install a CD player there in the future. No, I probably won’t do that. If I steal George's radio, that car won’t get a replacement unit. I don’t know, we’ll see. I've also been shopping the ‘bay for more performance parts for Mr. Wiggly for some reason. I've just about got myself convinced that the four-barrel manifold would be really cool. I mean, of course it would be really cool, but I've just about convinced myself it would be the right thing to do. I know, I already have the adapter for the Weber which is already jetted correctly and has been modified for the Albatross but… well, now that I think about it, never mind. I'll install that. I was looking at factory Dodge two-barrel manifolds as well. That would be cool too, but I have the adapter. Perhaps I'm just an unabashed consumer. Is “unabashed” the word I wanted to use there? I don’t know. [ Yes, it is. Unabashed = maintaining full force with no decrease. - SM ] Anyhoo, I'm not sure where I was going with that. So, where was I? Ok, hot rodding Mr. Wiggly will be accomplished with the Weber. I also have the headers what will need to be installed. Oh, I just thought of something that really twists my boxers in a knot! What the hell is up with people leaving out “to be” in sentences? For example, “Man my car is dirty. It sure needs washed.” Or, “This printer is broken. It needs fixed.” I friggin’ hate that! I always correct people who say or write it that way. [ But it's okay to say 'headers what need to be installed' ? - SM ] Ok, no I don’t, but I'd like to! All right, I'm calm again. So, Mr. Wiggly will get the Albatross, the Weber 32/26, the Clifford adapter, the Clifford (I think) headers, and a dual rorty zorst, eventually. I think I'll start with a “Swiss cheese” job on the stock filter housing and install a K&N. I may have a rorty zorst installed on the stock manifold as well. We’ll see. I also need to install, or more likely have installed, a trailer hitch and wiring. Oh yeah, I'll have that installed. Raised white letter tires on the turbines, I almost forgot about those! John held one of the wheels up to the tire the other day and it looked so good! This is a dangerous subject for me to be discussing on a payday Friday! I might have to load the wheels into the back of Matilda and go buy some tires tomorrow. I'll pull a lug nut off of the van as well so I can buy a set of mag style nuts when I go. Ok, I'm about to poo myself so I think I'll head downstairs and release a hostage. Ah, much better. Well, on that note I think I'll call it quits for a bit. I think I'm going to watch a movie. I just watched “Slap Shot” again. Damn, that is a funny movie. Well, here we sit on a Friday afternoon. I have nothing going on but I don’t think I should leave just yet. I'll hang out for another hour or two and then go. I really shouldn’t be thinking about tires for Mr. Wiggly right now, I should concentrate on getting George going. I need to avoid, with all my might, going to the store to get any parts for Mr. Wiggly tomorrow. Of course if John is a bad influence and insists on it, well who am I to argue? No, I need to get George finished. Bah, this isn’t doing it for me right now. I think I'm going to head to the internot and send this to Spiderman then goof off until quitting time. Y'all have a swell weekend. Talk to you Monday. Hey, there’s the page break. I guess I'm quitting just in time.
