Halloween! Hallo-friggin’-ween! Where are the years going? I'm going to turn around one day and be sixty-five years old and have no money to retire on! Sheesh! Anyhoo, I successfully out-freaked at least two people by driving Mr. Wiggly to work yesterday and today. Pat came by to borrow my trailer again yesterday and saw Matilda parked at the shop. He commented to me later that he knew I had followed him out Sunday but there my car sat! John said he swung by today to get something or look for something or something and saw Matilda. His thought was that I had driven the Seven to work. When he saw it inside it further out-freaked him. Tee hee! Well, as I mentioned a few weeks back, mom is having a thing at the church tonight and she wants me to bring the Seven to it. I'm going to go straight to the shop from work and drop off Mr. Wiggly and pick up said Seven. I need to get home and figure out what we’re going to do with it, decoration wise. I borrowed Pat's driving suit to wear along with my helmet so as to be a racecar driver. Yawn. Fortunately, Pat’s equatorial region has a lower integer value than mine and I won’t be able to wear it. Ok, I'm fatter than Pat and can’t zip up the suit! There, I admitted it. Are you happy now? The thinking now is we’ll stuff the suit with… um, stuff and put the alien mask inside my helmet and set all of that in the car. I don’t know, we’ll see. Oh, I remember where I was going with that before getting side tracked, I think I'm going to cut out of work early to make all of that happen. I'm meeting someone at the TOB at 1445 h and will probably leave from there when I get their meeting kicked off. Mr. Wiggly is parked over there so it won’t be all that much of an inconvenience. Well, I suppose it could inconvenience someone who needs my help between 1445 h and 1700 h. It’s a risk I'm willing to take though. Oh, here’s why I went ahead and drove Mr. Wiggly again today. I was on my way to the shop last night to park Mr. Wiggly and get Matilda. I thought, “I’m going to have to do this again tomorrow evening. Why don’t I just hang on to Mr. Wiggly one more night?” So I did. Oh, and another thing I've discovered about Mr. Wiggly is that if I'm not in any hurry with it, it runs really well and isn’t all that obnoxiously loud. Of course there’s no helping the noise on the freeway. The 3,000-RPM drone has me worried that I sound like a Harley douche-bag rolling down the road. I told John that I need someone to follow me and give me an open-road assessment of the sound. I also said I’d like to hear what it sounds like when someone else drives it. We’ll probably do that one of these days. One last thing, Mr. Wiggly had developed an oil leak. It could be the oil pressure sender I replaced but I doubt it. It could be the valve cover gasket that I also replaced, or it could be the rear main seal after being parked for so long. I'll get under there and check it out one of these days, probably. Well, I think this is going to be a short entry today. Granted, it won’t be as short as Friday’s was. Anyhoo, I think I'm going to cal this rant complete and shoost it off to Spiderman. Have a day.
