I guess yesterday’s entry wasn’t as short as I thought it was going to be. I never made it to the page break is why I said I was cutting it short. Doesn’t matter. So, the thing at the church was… I was going to say interesting but it really wasn’t. It was cold however. It was cold driving the Seven to the house. It was cold driving the Seven to the church. It was cold driving the Seven back to the shop. Oh, and it was cold standing next to the Seven all evening. About the only saving grace of the event was seeing the tasty young college age daughter of one of my brother’s friends running around the place. She’s probably twenty or so, and that’s on a scale of one to ten! Ba-dum-bum! One of my contemporaries was there with her kids. She didn’t look bad for a gal my age. She kept talking about her substitute teaching gig and how the kids would say, “Hi miss Bass!” expecting her to know their names. Her maiden name was Bass and she made the “Miss Bass” statement a couple times. I'm not sure if she was hinting around or not, but she knows where to find me. Too many strikes for me to pursue, but I probably wouldn’t turn her down. Oh, in case you were wondering, I wound up wearing the blue coveralls and the “Sir Jackie Stewart” hat because it kind of made me sort of look almost like a fifties era racecar driver, but not quite. I tried on Pat's driving suit once more but there was no way. We tried stuffing it and putting the alien mask in the helmet but that didn’t work either. Oh well, what are you going to do? Here’s what I'm going to do, I'm going to go have some lunch since I have a couple meetings to attend to at 1230 h and 1300 h. I'll probably be back later. I'm back. There are some seriously exquisite looking women in this place! The meeting before the 1230 meeting had a bunch and then more arrived as those were leaving. It was almost enough to give a dude whiplash. Zoinks! I think we’re going to the shop tonight. If so, I'd like to button up George enough to park him outside for a bit. John is going to be working on his blue 510 Thursday and Friday so I thought I'd vacate that spot for him. It’s the least I can do. Well, actually the least I can do is say, “Tough noogies, it’s my shop. Work outside.” But I won’t do that. I need to take a survey, changing the subject radically in mid thought, as to the wheels for George. The Cragar SS wheels do look bitchin’ on there and they already have tires but I'll need to massage the front fenders some more to make them work. The 14” turbine wheels would fit the turbo “theme” of the car, and I think they’d look bitchin’ as well, but they need tires. If I bought the right size, like not 205 mm section width for instance, I could probably get by with the fender clearance I have now. Then again, I could go ahead and clearance the fenders for the 205s on the Cragar wheels and then I won’t have to worry as much about tire size when I do buy them for the turbines. Hmm, it’s a thought. Of course there’s always the question of what am I going to do with the Cragar wheels if I don’t run them on George. Should that have a question mark? Mr. Tiny and Flaccid didn’t think so. I'm going with it the way it is written. Anyhoo, back to the matter at hand, I'm sure John will vote Cragar. I think he doesn’t like the turbine wheels. I don’t know though, the “plus two” of the 14” wheels might offset the styling issues. Then again, I might be full of it. Well, I'm just about ready to call this rant complete. I think I'll go e-Bay shopping after sending this to Spiderman. I'll tell you if I find anything.
