I was driving the Seven a week ago at this time. Today it is snowing and butt assed butt-butt cold. On the plus side, I did get to wear the big leather coat today. I'm not sure just how long I'm going to stay at work this afternoon. I'll stay at least until 1500 h for sure. After that, it’s anybody’s guess. I don’t have any new car stuff to report. Well, I am thinking about buying one of those plastic replica mock-up engine blocks to make the fabrication work on Barbecue Bob a little easier. I've found one on e-Bay but the “buy it now” price, which is usually a good indicator of the reserve, isn’t all that much better than a new one from Summit. I'm sleepy; I'll be back in a bit. Well, the BNSF police just came and woke me up. Seems every year they send a “Care Package” to the office in Topeka with loads of useless stuff in it. This year they came to me asking for my help in loading the box. I gave them a broken Extron interface, a remote control for a Hughes/JVC video projector, some infrared wireless headphones, some computer cable adapter thingy, and probably a few more items. They were pleased. Of course now that they are gone I'm wide-awake again. It was a decent nap though so I think I'll be fine for a while. Whoa! I just looked at the clock and saw that it is 1420 h already! I must have been out for half an hour at least. Yoinks! Well I guess I don’t mind as much after all. Ok, I'm not getting anywhere with this. I think I'll call it a day.
