I got the oil changed in Matilda but they couldn’t, or wouldn’t, do anything about the tire pressure monitor light. John is of the opinion that the dash will come out easily and we can either put a dab of tape on the face of the light or get the lamp out. We’ll see. All afternoon, after getting the oil changed, I was trying to think of the other thing I needed to look into doing while off early. I couldn’t think of it. I sat in my chair, surfing the channels, until about 1800 h when the cat came traipsing down the stairs. “Oh yeah,” I said to her, “I was going to take you in for your annual checkup and shots.” Of course the vet closes at 1800 h and she knew that. She’s a crafty little thing. Well, I'll practice her! She can make a fool of me only so many times before I catch on to her games. I just got off the phone with the vet and we have an appointment at 1700 h tomorrow. So there! Oh, my flywheel is supposedly on its way, finally. The dude claims to have had the flu, which I'm not going to doubt, and is way behind on his shipping. I'm cool with that, as long as I'm kept in the loop and it does finally arrive. Come to think of it, I've only been burned once using e-Bay, and I got my money back that time as well. I'm sure some unscrupulous individual will screw me one of these days but for now it has been a successful shopping place for me. In fact, I think I'm going to go to the internot and do a little shopping. I'm not coming up with stuff to talk about anyway.
