John was here visiting all morning. It was the one day of the year I actually had work to do as well. Well, one of a few days a year that is. I do work on occasion. He and I changed half the lamps in the main projectors as they had gone over their 1,500-hour lifespan. He knows this and you don’t care. Why am I telling you? I don’t know. So, Saturday morning mom and I pick John up at the Nissan dealer where he’s having window tint installed on his Versa. The three of us go to the credit onion and refinance the loans. His pays off my Pimpmobile loan, thank you for that by the way, and mine is in my checking account waiting for me to pay off the Nissan loan. I guess I really ought to go do that shouldn’t I? In a bit. So, once we were done there we headed back to the dealer and picked up his car. It looked a million percent better with the windows tinted. I was just almost a tiny bit jealous. He took us to lunch at Don Pulido’s and then went home. I tried to pay the loan off online but couldn’t make it happen. I napped for a while and by the time I was ready to go back out again it was getting dark. Oh, and the weather was kind of crappy. Sunday morning mom’s church was cancelled due to (tee hee, doo-doo) the weather. I got dressed and said I was going out whether she was or not. We went to Saltgrass Steakhouse and had, well, steaks duh. From there we went to Lowe’s and bought a towel rack for her new island in the kitchen. We went home and I installed it then went back out. I didn’t make it to the shop or anywhere; I just went for a hoon on FM5. I didn’t hoon too much because of the aforementioned crappy weather, but I did go for a drive. I finally decided to go home and wasted the rest of the evening watching TV. This morning it sleeted and I cautiously drove in to work expecting there to be few, if any, people here. Well, half of the folks here used to live up north so this weather was no problem for them. I did notice all but one of my projectors have “Replace the lamp” warnings and we’re right back to the beginning of the story. Well, I have to go replace a lamp now so I think I'll call this entry short. Have a day.
