We had a Technology Symposium here at the Railroad yesterday so I was busier than a well hydrated dog in a fire plug warehouse. That is why there was no rant for y'all. Tonight I'm supposed to take John to Steve/John’s so he can “pick up a car.” I'm steadfastly NOT asking what it is and he’s equally resolute in not volunteering the information. So I guess I'll see what it is when I get there. I wonder what this is going to do to the beater 510 he has been working on for the last few weeks. We’ll see I suppose. Well, it is just about time for lunch. I think I'll call desktop support and see if they are ready. I may be back later to rant some more. I'm back. I have a service guy here looking at something but, as is always the case, it won’t act up while he’s here. He’s talking to our mutual boss right now, the one from the jury duty (tee hee, doody!) story a month or two back, and telling him what’s what. Ok, he’s off the phone now so I'd better get back to work. Then again, maybe I won’t. Did I mention that watching Andy drive his 1200 around at Mineral Wells got me excited to work on George again? Well, it did. Of course that has been a couple weeks ago and I've had time to get lethargic again. I think moving stuff around to make another bay available would be a very good idea. I really don’t mind John having a car in the bay but I know I'd get stuff done on mine if it were inside as well. Besides, it is really kind of dumb to have all of those roll up doors only to use one of them. Well, Jeff needs me to go to the internot for him so I guess I'll call this rant complete. Have a day.
