I am in such a shitty mood. I'm just about ready to say, “Screw you guys, I’m going home!” and go roam the highways and byways living out of the back of Mr. Wiggly. I'm not even sure what set me off. Perhaps the supermodel had one too many bitchy requests for me. No, I think it is the idea of the shop in Boyd. For some reason I have the stupid notion that I could make a living by building hotrods, Lotus Seven replicas, and stuff like that. I think I just need a vacation. Yeah, but that’s just going to make coming back to the supermodel that much more of a pain in the ass. I need an attitude adjustment of some sort though. For crying out loud, I'm sitting here wasting time talking to y'all when there are a dozen things I should be doing for the supermodel! Ok, maybe not a dozen, but there are a few things that would be better uses of my time. Thing is right now I just don’t care. Aw crap, I guess I'll go do some work. Maybe I'll come back later. We’ll see. I'm back. Am I in a better mood? Slightly. I still don’t have anything new to say though. I think John and I are planning to go to the shop tonight. I might work on George and I might just sit and watch John work. Most likely, he’ll call and suggest going to see a movie instead. I don’t know if there’s anything out that I want to see though. I guess if I were to work on George, I'd plan on dropping the third member out of that axle and maybe installing the welded 4.11 third member. Oh, did I mention I counted the teeth and did the math to find that it is, in fact, a 4.11:1 ring and pinion? Well, I did and it is. After counting the teeth twice, I finally found 37/9 stamped on the ring gear. Divide 37 by 9 and you get 4.111111111111… I was a bit relieved that it was actually a 4.11 because up until that point I was going on what the dude I bought the car from told me. He could have been lying. Of course, he was just going on what the dude he bought the car from had said as well. But it doesn’t matter since it is actually a 4.11 R&P. So, I guess there’s a plan of sorts. I just thought of something I could do right now. I could go to e-Bay and look for another blow off valve. I gave the one I bought so many years ago to John for one of his turbo projects. Then again, I really don’t need to be thinking about that project until George is done. Well, unless John’s four-door vacates the main bay and I move Barbara in there. I need to “finish” all of the stuff under George before that happens though since he’s sitting on the jack stands at the moment. I suppose if I really got to work on it I could have the under car stuff done pretty quickly. Of course if I really got to work on it I could have the whole car done pretty quickly. Well, I've fallen asleep twice staring at the screen. I think I'll shut down now. Have a day.
