I feel ever so slightly better today. Of course the Pasta Pronto and chocolate chip cookie for lunch are probably going to hit my tract in a moment and lock me down again. We’ll see. Ok, so when I bought Fifi the other day, the sales dude threw in a trailer hitch. I went by on my way home Tuesday to see if they could do the install. It was too late. We arranged, sales dude and I, that he would swing by the house first thing Wednesday and get the truck and take it to the trailer place. When I got home, the truck was gone. I said to mom that either it had been stolen or it was off being hitched. She said he came by around 0830 h and got it promising to have it back before the dealership closed at 2000 h that evening. Well, 2030 h came and went and there was no truck. 2100 h came and went with no truck. 2200 h came and went with no truck. I figured it wasn’t going to be back that evening and went to bed. I got up this morning and came into work and it was still gone. I figured I'd worry about it tonight if it weren’t there when I got home. I got a call from mom saying he had dropped it off around 1100 h this morning. She said it was a “pretty” hitch. We’ll have to wait and see just what that means. I've been pricing stuff for it, like cold air kits and such, but I think I'm going to try and leave well enough alone. I may replace the head unit and speakers though. The head unit so I can hook up my MP3 player and the speakers because the ones Pat has in his truck ROCK! Then again, I might just stick with the crappy-assed transmitter thingy to play the MP3s. It “works” well enough. I do need to do something about getting MP3 tunes into Matilda though. Changing the subject radically, I have a guy who wants to come see Mr. Wiggly Friday evening. I've given him my cell phone number and directions to the shop. We’ll see what happens with that. Well, lunch is making me sleepy. I'm having trouble concentrating on talking to y'all right now. I think I'm going to call it another short rant and go take a nap. Toodles.
