John and I are supposed to do something this evening. It’ll probably be going to see “Superbad” or something. I haven’t heard from him to know when he’s going to be off work. I guess I could call him. Ok, he’s done and going home to take a shower. I'll have him call me when he’s ready and I'll head that way. Perhaps we’ll go to Steve/John’s and have another resonator added to Fifi’s zorst to tone it down just a tad. Mom still hasn’t ridden in it with the new zorst so I'm hoping I can make it more acceptable before she does. Then again, maybe I won’t. We’ll see. I just want to be home by 2000 h to catch “Monk” on USA Network. Then again, I could catch the 2300 h showing I suppose. Ok, so my new goal is no later than 2300 h to catch “Monk” and “Psych.” I think we’re planning to go to the shop in the morning. John wants to install his new wheels and I want to look at sticking some Datsun emblems on Matilda. We’re thinking a 1200 grille roundel on the, duh, grille and a rear fascia roundel on the hatch in place of the Nissan hamburger that is there now. We might even do a script Datsun where it says “Versa” now. We’ll see. On another note, the guy who used to be in charge of the BNSF Family Day Car Show retired earlier this year. I was beginning to wonder who would take over the reigns. Is that the right word? Should it be “reins?” I know “rains” isn’t right. Oh well, y'all know what I mean, those things Juan steers a horse with. Anyhoo, I didn’t want to ask too many questions for fear they might try to put me in charge. We don’t want that. Fortunately, I got an e-mail from the new dude the other day with the registration form. I'm all signed up with the Seven. I may ask for another spot for Mr. Wiggly, we’ll see. I'd have to clean him up quite a bit though. I don’t know. Well, I think I've just about had enough of this. I'm going to shoost this off to Spiderman, pack it up, and wait for John to call. Y'all have a day. Have a whole weekend while you’re at it.
