I have decided on a way to make myself a little clearer when talking about my cars, my associates, my friends, and my cohorts. When I refer to a car by name from now on, I'm going to parenthesize it. Are you serious? “Parenthesize” is actually a word? How about that? Wait; is “parenthesize” what I really mean? I guess that would work too. I was actually thinking of quotes for the names of cars but I guess parenthesis will work just as well. Ok, ignore that last bit as if I meant “parenthesize” all along. So, from now on, the car I bought from George will be (George), the car I'm getting back from Ray will be (Marty), and so on. [ If it was me, I'd go with Marty and "Marty"... - SM ] Now I won’t have to clarify when I'm talking about a car and when I'm talking about a dude, or a dudette I suppose. Who knows, I might meet a Matilda some day and have to refer to her as well as (Matilda). Of course there’s (Barbara) and (Gigi) as well. I might need to tell the story of the time Pat and I climbed through the window into Gigi and Jojo’s room. Then again, I might not. Especially since I barely remember that whole night. Gigi and Jojo were twins you see. Pat, Randy, Rob, and I were out drinking and… well, never mind, it’s not important. The point is, I knew a Gigi at one time and I wouldn’t want y'all confusing her with the 1200 I got from Gregg. I may have to ask Pat to “guest rant” sometime and tell that story. He seems to remember more of it than I do. I think he was driving that night. Not that being the driver ever stopped any of us from keeping up with the rest of the group’s drinking. Damn, we all should be dead several times over I'm sure. Ok, I seem to have gotten off track a bit. Where was I? Oh, I wasn’t saying anything important anyway so I guess the bunny didn’t take me too far off track after all. Wait, did I know a Bunny as well? No, I don’t guess I did. There was a Honey, “she was about this tall.” Now there’s an evening I really don’t remember! Pat and Rob used to tell the story of Honey, “she was about this tall,” all the time and I never knew I was actually there for it! It was one of the first times Pat and I really hung out and bonded, apparently. By the way, for all I know, “she was about this tall” was actually her last name since that was the only way we ever referred to her. Oh, you have to wave your hand in front of your chest/stomach when you say it as well, for the full effect. Ok, this rant seems to have really gotten lost. Let me see, do I have anything to say about the cars? No, I don’t think I do. Well then, I guess I'm done here.
