I have got to cull my herd a bit so I can get rid of the shop in Beenbroke. Here’s the poop. Mom and I were talking about the house last night. She asked if having a driveway back to the lower porch installed would add anything to the value of the house when it came time to sell. I said it wouldn’t to anyone but me. We discussed things a bit more and something to the effect of, “I’d probably just give you the house if you took over the monthly bills,” was said. I asked what that number was and it is around what I'm paying in rent for the Beenbroke shop. Of course this is all just speculation. Having said that, here’s the minimum fleet of cars I'd like to keep: the (Seven), the (Chickenhawk), (George), (Fifi), and the trailer. Well, of course (Matilda) would stay but since it is my daily driver I'm not going to count it. I mean I need a daily driver so whatever that vehicle is will always be considered “in the fleet.” That leaves me with four extra vehicles and a trailer to park. The trailer and at least (George) could be parked on that lower porch, the one with the new driveway that started all of this. The south side of the garage would have to get cleared out for the (Seven). (Matilda) could live in mom’s current spot on the north side of the garage leaving the (Marty) and (Fifi) in the driveway. Another thought comes to mind. If I built a privacy fence around the back area, I could probably park another one or two on the drive going to the porch. That would give (Mr. Wiggly) a reprieve. I'd really like to keep him around. I do so love that van. I'm looking at the diagram I just drew and I think if the driveway were poured in such a way that the trailer backs straight back against the fence to the Baird’s yard with room to drive past it, I could park (Mr. Wiggly) on the porch with (George). Of course a privacy fence makes a lot of sense too. I think I can get the big metal welding table, the mill, the drill press, my tool box, and enough other stuff to work with into the garage and keep a functioning shop alive there at the house. I'd really have to get rid of a bunch of superfluous stuff though. I suppose the downstairs room could be pressed into service for overflow shop area. I don’t know. I think I'm going to have to “cipher and figure” on this some more. I'll talk to y'all later.
