I was going to say that there won’t be an entry today but then realized I do have something to say. Well, and not to mention the fact that sending an entry telling y’all there was not going to be an entry would be sort of redundant over and over again. Ok, so here’s what I have to tell y’all. The telling of which will begin now. Insofar as times of things being told are concerned, this is the one where I tell the things of which I have to tell. I went to the shop last night. No, that wasn’t all of it. I was going to continue. I went to the shop last night and took the Seven out to see how the shifter felt. First and second gear felt fine. Third and fourth were vague. Fifth was a guessing game. It didn’t feel like the shifter moved at all and for all I knew it was back in third. But the engine’s revs told a different story. I drove back and forth to the lake and back a few times and decided it was something I could live with this weekend. I went ahead and took the shift boot off to see if I could see anything ugly. I could not. I'm going to have to take the center console out and fix whatever is bent but that isn’t going to happen before the weekend. So there. After reassembling the shift boot, I locked up the shop and went home. Mom followed me to Amy’s house where I parked Fifi for the weekend. I'll take it in to have the A/C fixed next week. Back at home I watched season one of “The Venture Brothers” on DVD. Damn but that show is funny. This morning I got an e-mail from a dude in
