See, I was shouting over the fans yesterday. It was kind of a bit. Anyhoo, I guess I'll ramble and rant about cars today. I told y'all about the Birkini top and how Gregg and I fixed it, right? Now I wish the weather wasn’t so… ok, I wish I was more manly and willing to drive the Seven in the cold. Ok, the cold I could probably deal with but the mist and rain are what really ruin the driving experience. I really like the way a Seven looks with a top on. It sort of makes it look more complete, you know? Of course full weather gear on one can go overboard pretty quickly. I wish I had pictures to show y'all what I'm talking about. Um, yeah. Ok, so I'm now out of stuff to say about the Seven for the time being. I won the auctions for all those Sunny emblems I mentioned the other day. They should all be on their way. What irks me though is there is a Sunny grille badge, like the one I bought with a grille, on e-Bay for considerably less than what I paid. Of course it is just a badge and I'm getting a “new” grille with mine. It might not be NEW new, but it will be new to me so shut up. Then again, it might BE new. I don’t remember. We’ll see. There is also a Sunny roundel for sale but it is different. The one I just saw is like the regular US spec “D” roundel but with the double “S” in the middle over the blue, red, and white triangles. Well, they aren’t really triangles since one side is an arc. I'm sure there is a geometric term for that shape. I wonder what it is. But I digress. The one I bought has the blue, red, and white scheme but it is just three arcs around the perimeter with the double “S” in the middle. I don’t remember what the background is though. Pie Piece! They would normally be called “Pie Pieces,” those triangles with one side being an arc. Yeah. Ok, so mine won’t be like that. That’s the gist of what I'm trying to get across to you. There are several Sunny script emblems but I'm afeared I'm borderline over badged as it stands. Speaking of potentially OB cars, I was looking at the rear of Matilda yesterday and I really like the Sunny Coupe badge opposite the Datsun on the hatch. From Fifi’s driver’s seat, they don’t appear to be at different levels either. We’ll see what John has to say about it. George just popped up on my work computer’s screen saver. I don’t have anything to add to that but it seemed like I needed to segue into another subject. I need to suck it up and finish that car, damn it! I mentioned foregoing some of the things on my “to do list” in order to get it ready for the Japanese car show in Houston the other day. It looks more likely that I'll trailer the Seven down for that event. I don’t know. We’ll see. Well, bah and feh! I'm not having any fun typing in here today. I'm wracking my brains trying to think of stuff to tell y'all. Is it “wracking” or “racking” in that context? I don’t know. See? Oh the inanity! And on that lousy pun, I think I'm going to call it a rant for the time being. I may come back later if the muse strikes. Mmmm, that “muse” from the Buitoni commercial could strike me! Rrrrrrreeeeeow! I'd grant her access to my pants. Ok, I did come back but I've got nothing to add. Have a day.HHH
