I don’t know why I'm even bothering today. I'm still pretty out of it from having to sleep on the living room floor due to (tee hee, I said doo-doo!) the fans upstairs. I did discover a new favorite TV show last night though. It is called “Corner Gas” and is about the antics of a wacky, off kilter little crossroads of a town in rural Saskatchewan, Canada. Ok, so pointing out that Saskatchewan is in Canada might be redundant over and over again. Like there’s another Saskatchewan anywhere else. Anyhoo, perhaps it is the lack of sleep, but I thought the show was really funny! Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that the owner of the diner and the lady cop are both very easy on the eyes. Hey, I just noticed that I spelled Saskatchewan right four times without having to resort to the spell checker. Really, I did. Ok, so there’s that. Um, yeah, I've got nothing. Oh, here’s something, sort of. The other day I saw garage kits for sale at Sutherland’s. Today I went in to the Tiny and Flaccid Paint program where I have drawn up “plans” for the shop next to the house and did one using a 20’x36’ structure right on the maximum build line. I think I can get a wide enough driveway between the air conditioner compressor and it to be able to put the roll up doors on the north side facing the house. It wouldn’t be any worse than what I have now for access into the Beenbroke shop. I just went and looked at it again. If I put two 10’ doors on the “bays” at each end and left the middle for the “machine shop,” it really wouldn’t be difficult at all to snake cars in. I don’t know. It would allow me to build a deck the entire length of the south side of the house. I'm not sure what the width of that deck would be though. Hang on, I'll check. Ok, the space between the house and the shop would be 19’8” and the drive I have drawn right now would be 14’8” leaving a 5’ grassy area where the A/C compressor sits. Wait, if that is under the deck the grass will be dead anyway. Ok, so there would be a 19’8” drive with an A/C compressor off to the side. Interesting. I may have to print that out and show it to Gregg to get his opinion. If the machine shop were in the existing garage, then this new unit would just be auxiliary indoor parking. It wouldn’t have to be heated or air conditioned. For that matter, it wouldn’t even need much in the way of electricity at all. I'm beginning to like this idea quite a bit. Of course it could be the lack of sleep. Yeah, I'm going to attribute it to the lack of sleep. In fact, I'm going to shut up now because I'm sure this whole thing is a load of crap. Oh, speaking of a load of crap, I mentioned Tiny and Flaccid’s Paint program up above. Can anyone tell me why they would have to go and fuck up a program that works just fine when they introduce a new operating system? [ I assume you mean a reason other than 'to make money'? - SM ] Yeah, Paint was a decent enough doodling program but they went and screwed with it for Vista and now it almost totally sucks. The zoom feature is a total pain in the ass, the “flip and rotate” feature deletes part of whatever you are trying to flip or rotate, it automatically “shades” around curves and stuff, the “fill with color” feature doesn’t work right, and many more issues I can’t remember off the top of my head. Seriously, what the hell? I've said it before and I'll say it again, “I am going to throw one hell of a party when Bill Gates gets murdered for foisting Tiny and Flaccid (Microsoft) on us.” I just hope it isn't quick. I want him to suffer before dying. It would be nice if some of the programmers responsible for Vista burned to death with him. Ahh, good times. Well, now that I'm on a list, I think I'll call it a day. Oh, and Ashley Furniture can still eat a bag of dicks as well.
