John and I went to AT&T last night to look at phones. We were at the Boys of Pep when I made the comment that I wanted a new phone. He said, "Me too!" I said I wanted one that was easier to text with. He said, "Me too!" So we decided to go look at Dingleberries and/or slider phones. I had my eye on that dual slider thingy where you slide one way and it is a phone keybroad and the other way is QWERTY. we looked at that and, like I said, the various Dingleberry offerings. John liked the bigger screen on the Dingleberry but the compactness of the slider. I liked the slider but have a Dingleberry at work and am used to it. The reason we didn't "pull the trigger" on it last night was he's almost thirty days out from the time when his phone can be upgraded whereas I am like sixty to ninety days out. The sales dude was going to have to get managerial approval to upgrade us early. Well, he called today to say he had approval. I called John and basically told him "The ball is in your court. Make the decision for us." I think we're going to wait until Saturday morning to go do it though. Why? Well, the Sunday story I promised y'all yesterday would have come in handy for that. Ok, short version, Sunday afternoon I let Enrique drive me around in Matilda. He is so totally on the hook for that car now. Today I get a call from Bo at the Nissan dealer practically begging me to come buy that Altima Coupe. I told him I'd see what I could do. I called Enrique and asked what he thought we could do. He said he's broke at the moment but we'll come up with some plan to make it work. He's coming to the house tonight to talk to me and mom about it and then we're probably going to the dealer to beat them up on a new Altima Coupe. I guess that will have to do you until tomorrow.
