I got nothin’ today. I'm not even sure if I'm going to try to fight through it either. Oh sure, it looks like I'm fighting through, but I'm not sure how much further it will go. I guess y'all can see how much further it went but I can’t. Wow, there are all kinds of tense shifts in that last sentence, weren’t there? So, I guess I could mention the things I found on e-Bay this morning. I bought another unibody brace for Darth Versa. I think it is a lower chassis brace but I'm not 100% sure. We’ll see when it arrives I guess. I also bought a NISMO aluminum shift knob. Of course it won’t fit Darth Versa I'm sure, but it is cool enough to have nonetheless. I'll probably wind up using it in Marty. We’ll see. Oh, I was looking at the 2 1/16” gauges for Marty the other day and decided to have a look at how they’d fit in the little cubby-hole in the dash of a Versa. I decided that oil pressure and water temperature gauges would work pretty well in there. I had a look under the hood and found the spot where I'll tap in for the oil pressure sender. I also think I'm going to bypass the throttle body heater hose and use that for the water temp sender. Supposedly by bypassing that heater you can gain a couple horsepower. We’ll see. Sunday morning I went to Summit’s website and ordered three set of mini gauges, one for Darth Versa, one for Matilda, and one for Admiral Akbar. I'm not sure if Admiral Akbar was the name we actually chose for John’s Versa, but that's what it shall be called in here from now on. It’s a trap! Enrique was with me when I was having a look at the idea and expressed interest in a set. He even volunteered his car as the test mule for the initial installation. I'm not sure if John is going to want gauges in his, but they are on the way anyway. I'll find a use for them in something if he doesn’t want them. Well, I have totally lost interest in this rant today. I think I'm going to cut my losses and shut the hell up for the day. Perhaps I'll… oh never mind.
