The weather has turned shitty. It was snowing when I was in the Grand Canyon room and by the time I got to the door at the opposite side of the NOC, it was raining. I was soaked by the time I walked across the parking lot/street to the Employee Center for lunch. Now, I am well aware that most, if not all, of you have no idea what sort of distances I'm talking about. I also don’t care. So there. Anyhoo, if it stays like this, I don’t see much turnout at the Japanese Car Show thingy tomorrow night. I'll still go in Darth Versa, but I might not bring Shi-Chi out. We’ll see. Ok, so I was playing with a drawing in Paint earlier and I may have the Chickenhawk’s headers planned. Of course once I had them drawn I started thinking of other wacky ideas. How crazy would a triple exhaust be? Instead of two banks of three cylinders merging into two collectors, merge three pairs into three collectors. If the firing order really is 1-2-3-4-5-6, and the banks are numbered 1-3-5 and 2-4-6, I'd probably pair 1 with 4, 2 with 5, and 3 with 6. That would give the most balanced firing order into the collectors. Sure, 1 and 2, 3 and 4, and 5 and 6 could be paired but then the collectors would “see” a pair of bangs and long pauses. The 1-4, 2-5, 3-6 pairing would make for pauses in between bangs on each collector. How wild would a triple exhaust sound? It probably wouldn’t make any more power, in fact it would probably make less, and it probably would sound awful. Then again, if I'm designing and building it, all I'd be out was my time and the cost of materials. Ok, I'm going to design it in Paint here in a little bit. I might make it and I might not. We’ll see. Ok, I just got called away to go hold someone's hand setting up a meeting. I'm back now but not in the mood to continue on here. I think I'm going to close the rant, such that it is, and go play in Paint. Toodles.
