Ryan just showed me something that I really don’t need. He was looking at a website which sells “pocket bikes.” They have a couple which are like ¾ scale sport bikes. They are right in between one of those tiny little pocket bikes and a real sport bike. It has a 14 horsepower 110 cc four-stroke motor, four-speed gearbox, is about 58” long and 35” tall, and tops out at about 65 mph. Oh, and the best part, it cost under $600.00! It was all I could do to walk away and not put one on my credit card. I'd look really stupid riding one and I really don’t need to a) get into that world and 2) drop $600.00 on something like that. I'm just glad I don’t have internot access here at the desk anymore or I'd be calling him and asking for that website. No, if I'm going to buy a bike it’ll be an eighties era Japanese upright cruiser in the 500 cc to 650 cc range. John and I were looking at some that a fellow Datsun enthusiast “builds” last year. I'm not sure why we let that raga drop. It was probably because the sheik he drove his Cadillac. He went a cruising down the veldt. The bull’s horns was a standin’ on the radiator grille. Sharif don’t like it. Stock the cat-box. Lock the cashbox. Ok, I'm not sure where that came from. Well, I mean I know it is from “Rock the Kasbah” by the Clash, but I'm not sure what it has to do with John and I buying murder-cycles. Anyhoo, I guess it is obvious by now that I've got nothin’. I'll fight through it. So, I wonder what Gregg’s story is going to be tonight as to why we can’t load the Mustang on the trailer. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to do it either, but it needs to go away. I think if we do decide to load it up tonight, that I'm going to buy a winch for the trailer on my way to the shop. That’s a safe boast because I doubt we will be making the attempt. So what else is new? Um, yeah… I still got nothin’. Perhaps a loss cutting is in order. I guess if I think of anything later, I'll be back. Don’t hold your breath.
