I have been in one of the crappiest moods ever all day today. It has nothing to do with the weather, I like the rain, it is… other stuff. I'm not going into it. So, suffices to say I'm not really going to try very hard to come up with stuff to say today. I did come across something earlier that made me laugh. Apparently when the Lotus Seven was originally being sold in England, they could get around some sort of sales tax, or usage tax, or something, by selling the cars as kits. However, if they included assembly instructions with it, the tax applied. On the other hand, there was no rule about disassembly instructions. So, when Juan bought an original CKD (Completely Knocked Down) Lotus Seven kit in the fifties and sixties, he had to follow the included instructions in reverse order to build his car. John and I agree that this is hilarious. Speaking of John, I think we’re still on for the shop tonight but if I don’t have Shi-Chi’s radiator I'm not sure what I'm going to do there. Last time I checked on it online, UPS said it was “in transit.” Well, as pissy as I am today, it might behoove me to wait until Saturday in any case. I'm liable to just drive off, never to be seen again, if something else went wrong on that project. Or as Pat and I used to threaten if things went catastrophic on race trips, “You’d just see my naked ass running away across that field.” And on that note I think I will call it a rant.
