I see Spiderman got the rant posted last night. What’s weird is he seems to have gotten it up before he got home. Hmm, methinks he might have brought a laptop with him. Kooky. Anyhoo, I was going to tell y'all about this weird dream I had the other morning. It appears as though my subconscious is smarter than my conscious. Here’s the dream: for some reason I was Miley Cyrus’ best friend on that show where everyone in the world is too stupid to realize that when she’s wearing a blonde wig she’s Cindy-Anna Indiana, or is it Jane Maine? Whatever. Anyhoo, we’re sitting there talking about what we’re going to do for Halloween and I suggest we go somewhere with a beach. Miley Cyrus turns to me and lisps/yells/spits, “We lee-uv own the beach!” See, the show is set in a beachfront home… never mind. Ok, so we’re now on the boardwalk of the beach and all of a sudden we hear, “OW! We want the funk, give up the funk! OW! We need the funk, gotta have that funk!” We turn to see a family decked out in gold and silver lamé, platform boots, and wild eyeglasses strutting to that song. When I woke up, I started thinking, “I know I saw Bootsy Collins and George Clinton in that lineup. Were they ever in the same band? For that matter, was that song done by either of those artists?” Well, while sitting on the crapper I looked up Bootsy Collins on my Blackberry and found that he had indeed been in Parliament/Funkadelic, AKA P-Funk, with George Clinton and they had in fact recorded “Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker).” Apparently I knew that subconsciously but not consciously. See, now it all ties together. Well, except for the Miley Cyrus part, that was just weird. Well, my boss just came up and gave some folks a tour of my area. They woke me up when they arrived. Quite annoying. So, now I'm trying to think of more stuff to tell y'all. Honestly, I've got nothing so I think I'm going to call it a rant for the time being. Perhaps I'll come back later.
