I know I say this often, so believe it or don't as you see fit, but this might be the last rant. My laptop has been getting progressively slower and slower as time went on. Last night, when it took over five minutes to try and open internot exploiter, I slammed the lid shut and tossed the thing across the room. I didn’t bring it to work today so I don’t know if the thing will even restart. I'll probably try to run it again this weekend but I'm not holding my breath that it will be any good. I decided that I'd make a Word file on the work computer to rant and send to Spiderman but that even pissed me off. Why the hell give me the option of renaming the file if doing so makes the file unusable? I hate Microsoft so much that I'm thinking of going with Linux if I ever replace that laptop. John says he's not a fan but Ryan says he thinks I'd be happier with it. Of course the whole thing is moo because I can't afford to replace the laptop anyway. Perhaps I can get Vista exorcised from it and Linux installed! That is assuming the hard drive isn't ruined, of course. Hmm, now that is an interesting idea, "fixing" the existing laptop with a good operating system. What do I have to lose? If I have to replace the whole shebang I'm already losing all my files and such. What the hell? I might have to seek a geek to try and revive that thing by removing Tiny and Flaccid entirely. Ok, so here's the thing: if this turns out to be the last rant, well deal. If you get more rants in the future, then I fingered something out and decided to stick with it. So there. Have a day, and possibly an entire lifetime.
