I'm in a quandary. Someone, whom I trust financially, but not necessarily auto-aesthetically, wants to buy Ms. Clio. It would, essentially, be like getting an almost $400.00 a month pay raise with the car payment, insurance, and satellite radio subscription off my plate. I could sure use an “extra” $400.00 a month. It would mean driving Fifi all the time but I think I could handle that. I do have Shichi to hoon in on the weekends after all. It might also light a fire under me to “finish” Barbecue Bob or George to have a car to drive to work on occasion. The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. It isn't that I want to sell Ms. Clio, but I am willing to entertain the idea. The only way I'd do it though is for the other party to take up the loan and get my name totally off of the car in any way. I think… no, I'm sure the other party would be on board for that. Hell, he’s probably got enough in his bank account to just stroke a cheque to Nissan and pay off the loan. I don’t know that, but it would not surprise me. It is beginning to look like I've talked myself into this plan. John and I have discussed it and he’s on board as long as it is to reduce my debt and not just to get rid of the car. Larry Shuttlebus said, “Think of all the ammo you could buy with an extra $400.00 a month!” I'm thinking about all the Datsun, Lotus/Birkin, and Honda N600 stuff I could buy with an extra $400.00 a month. I'll need to talk it over with mom before making any final deals though. But it is beginning to look like the wisest course of action. I do like Ms. Clio quite a lot, but I think I could walk away from it. While Fifi might not handle as well as Ms. Clio, I think it is a faster vehicle. Besides, as I said above, I do have Shichi to hoon in and Barbecue Bob as a backup daily driver (once finished of course). Ok, pending mom’s approval (oh shut up, I am not a mama’s boy) I think I'm going to go ahead with this idea. And on that note, I think I'm going to shut up for a while. I may be back later. Then again, y'all should count yourselves luck you are getting a Wednesday rant in the first place. So there.
