Well, I'm not sure how I feel about going to the shop tomorrow. Part of me wants to be pissed off at the car still, but I'm having trouble justifying it. I think what I'm actually feeling is pique at having to tune a set of carburetors for the first time. Oh sure, we did a little fiddling with the SUs when we first installed them, but we never did have to do anything major with them. Granted, we never did have them adjusted very well either, so I guess there’s something to be said there. I don’t know. I'm sure once I drive the car and we get it all sorted out, or the other way around, things will be better. We’ll see. I've been looking for some of those aluminum rocker shaft spacers for the A-series engine but can’t seem to locate any. I did find a set of double valve springs for $185.00 but the springs on that head are brand new, hopefully they won’t float too soon. I'm sure I'll push the envelope with the revs from time to time, but I doubt it’ll see the north side of 6,500 rpm very often. Then again, Juan never knows. Feh! I am seriously not feeling this today. Perhaps y'all are just going to have to suck on a short rant today and hope for a good report on Monday. In fact… yeah, suck it!
