Ok, so here’s the potential plan for tomorrow at the shop: I dunno. Actually, John has a dude coming to have his 510 lowered. We’re not sure if that means he’s doing the work while we supervise and tell him what to do, or if we’re doing the work while he stands there looking pretty. We’ll know tomorrow. I'd like to put some aluminum wheels on Lil' Wiggly but all we have are the 13” guys on Timmy, the 14” turbines on George, and the 14” six-spoke Z wheels on the floor. The reason I'm not jumping right on the Z wheels is the fact that the tires are “too big” for the car. Of course I'm basing that on John’s assessment of the size, I might not mind 205/60-14s on a B-210. [ Yeah, but these are 195/70-14s - SM ] In fact, they might make my speedometer more accurate. Ok, so he also says the tires are junk, but that’s beside the point. Yeah, I know it really ought to be the major point, but I'm “desperate” for wheels yet too broke to buy new tires. It is a dilly of a pickle. Oh well, it’ll work out somehow. I just spoke to John about when we were meeting at the shop and we’re thinking around 0830 h or so. Ok, I think I'm going to plan on putting Shichi back together and leaving the carburetors alone for this summer. Well, unless John comes up with a compelling argument for doing the swap right quick. Something along the lines of, “Aw, go on ya puss!” ought to suffice, I'd think. I also think I should consider moving one or both of those running cars to the house. I've got the back patio for Lil' Wiggly and the garage space for Shichi. Not that I can afford it, but I wonder how much a pavestone driveway around the south side of the house would cost. Here’s what I'm thinking: de-sod the path I'd like to follow, which would basically be between the existing sprinkler system, lay down those interlocking pavestone thingies, and I'm done. Ok, so it would actually be: stand and watch while a crew of workers de-sods the… blah, blah, blah, and they’re done. I'd come closer to being able to afford the first scenario, I'd come closer to surviving the second. [ If you wait until the winter, I (and I'm sure others) could be talked into assisting.... - SM ]

Oh, hey. Have y'all been sitting here waiting all this time for me to continue? Sorry about that. I got distracted by something, the inside of my eyelids I think, and when I looked back at the laptop it was on the screen saver. I just now moved the mouse and found the rant sitting there. Well, any train of thought I had before has been terminally derailed. No, I'm not going back to see if I can salvage this. I'm going to call it a week and go home. Poo to you, with bells on, if you don’t like it.
