I started in here a couple hours ago but just now wrote something. Of course now I have to leave again so I'm not really sure why I even bothered. It is entirely possible that y'all will never get these first few sentences as I might just delete them when I get back. We’ll see. Nope, I'm going to leave them. OK, so sometime Saturday I got a text from Roger asking if I wanted barbecue. I said I couldn't make it but I might be able to go Sunday. Sunday I waited for him to call and he finally did to say he’d over eaten and wouldn't be up for “Q” after all. I said it was cool and began to plan my day. I thought I'd go for a hoon in Lil' Wiggly at the very least and began to get ready. I also thought I'd take the Hebrew Hammer to the range and blow off a few rounds. I was packing up the gun bag when John texted me and asked if I wanted a kolache. I asked where, how, when, and why and was told, “West, your car, leaving my house at three, and to look at a car.” I said I was going for a hoon in Lil' Wiggly and would be at his house at three. I unpacked the gun bag and headed to the shop for a hoon. Oh, I kept Big Millie on my hip of course. I took Lil' Wiggly to the gas station and filled her up then headed down the dam road to 377. OK, I won't go into the whole route this time except to say I forewent FM5 and just did a big loop back to the shop. There I hopped back in Ms. Clio and headed to John's. I swapped over to the passenger seat and made him drive to West. We had a look at the car and I gave him my opinion. “It is cool, but I think it is a little too spendy for a toy and too much work to be considered as a daily driver.” The owner wasn't there but “was on his way” the whole time we waited. Eventually I think I convinced John it wasn't worth waiting any more and we headed out. The dude called and John said he had an appointment back in Fort Worth and needed to go. He did say he’d probably bring a trailer back next weekend but to go ahead and sell if someone came along. The dude came off his price $100.00 at that and John said he’d be in touch. I said I'd be less against it under $500.00 because it could be considered a toy at that price but that $700.00 was still too steep in my opinion. We bought kolaches and sodas then headed north again. We discussed other stuff on the way back but nothing of note, I don't think. At some point we did discuss NAPS-Z versus L-series in a 1200 and I think the decision was NAPS-Z. We also talked about the L-series going in Lil' Wiggly, which I ain’t against. I dropped him off at his house and came on home. And that’s about it. I think since I was here so early today, I'm not going to hang out much past 1500 h today. In fact, I think I might not even make it that long. Well, we’ll see. Have a day.
