Since we aren't going to the shop tonight after all, I guess I need to whip out a quick rant. John is confident that we’ll make the BNSF Family Day deadline with Shichi. I'm not sure if we’re cleaning his garage on Saturday or if we’re going to the shop. Either way, the next trip to the shop will be dedicated to making Roku-Hyaku roll again, and then rolling it the hell out of the way. I don't want to give up on that project, because it would be so friggin’ cool, but I don't see me ever finishing it. I don't know, we’ll see. As for Lil' Wiggly, I really need to consider it “done” for the time being and get on with another project. Well, I suppose I could take another day and look at the seats one more time, but as far as performance stuff, back burner baby. There is no sense taking a running car off the road on a whim like that. Not until there is another runner to take its place in the stable of hooners. Sure, Shichi runs and could be hooned, I suppose, but I really want to enjoy driving that car more than I do currently. Oh, and I'd like to trust it more than I do right now. It is kind of funny that I have that car sitting in the garage waiting to be worked on and it has been supplanted by a shit box 1977 Datsun B-210. I suppose there are some who wouldn't understand, like most of y'all. If I only cared more about what y'all thought. Hmm. So, I guess that’s about all there is to say today. It is 1635 h now so I guess I'll call it a day. I've got a doctor’s appointment tomorrow so I'm not sure if I'll have a rant. I plan to spend some time at the courthouse renewing the license plates on Shichi. I hope I can keep the “Shichi” registration. I'm not paying another $400.00 for those plates though. I'm going to ask for the regular $40.00 personalized plates with that registration. We’ll see how it goes I guess. I'll let y'all know Friday, probably.
