Well, I just spoke to the dude in charge of the BNSF Family Day Car Show. I told him that Shichi might not be back together in time for the show. I said I might be showing Lil' Wiggly instead. He was cool with that. He has seen Lil' Wiggly, albeit before lowering, mirror installation, wheels, tires and whatever else we’ve done to it recently. He was still cool with showing it. So, there’s that. While goofing off on Face Buick last night, I took the “What Handgun Suits You” quiz. It came back with the Beretta M9. Of course the M9 is the military version of the 92 and I used to own a Taurus knock off of a 92, The Pimp Gun, so I couldn't really argue much. I commented that I really liked the Pimp Gun and was thinking of getting another. I know John would shit if I bought a new one though and sure enough, he suggested he knew where I could get one. Yeah, my old one that he currently owns. I flippantly offered the Hebrew Hammer in trade, which was the original trade we’d made a while ago. I think he replied, “Pooibly.” Anyhoo, after giving it some more thought, I think it would behoove me more to have the PX4 Storm Pistol so that the magazines could be shared with the CX4 Storm Carbine. Besides, I really want a PX4 Storm! I don't know what will become of all that. We will have to wait and see. I got an e-mail from the home office reminding me that I have nine (9) vacation days I need to schedule. I think I'm going to burn two of them the Friday and Monday surrounding the weekend of October 24th and 25th. Why? Because there might be a Lotus Seven Hill Country Cruise thingy going on that weekend. Of course I'll have to have Shichi running by then but that is a whole month after Family Day. To be honest, Family Day still isn't out of the running unless the machine shop stuff take a lot longer than expected. I mean come on, if I drop off all that stuff Saturday, they don't touch it for a week, take all of the following week (which it shouldn’t) to do the machining, and get it back to me on the 5th of September, I would have the long Labor Day weekend and two more after that to get the car going. I know I'm pressing my luck with statements like that, but it doesn't seem to be an insurmountable obstacle. I don't know, we’ll see. I just hope John is right and the thing will be simultaneously more powerful and more drivable. Again, we’ll see. Well, I've been over on the work computer looking some stuff up on the internot. See, one of the other things I did last night while wasting time on Face Buick was answer this list thingy that I copied from John. One of the questions was, “What song would you like played at your funeral.” I said John Phillip Sousa’s “Liberty Bell March” and went on to say, “Look it up then you’ll get it.” Well, today I was sitting here thinking, “Was it in fact a Sousa march?” Yes, it was. So I feel a little better about that. One of the other questions, my response to which cracked me ever so up, was, “What is your favorite sports team?” I replied, “East Umberton Ladies Auxiliary Inner Tube Water Polo Eleven.” I'm giggling about it now. East Umberton? Come on, everyone knows the West Umberton team is the one to beat. Oh, have you looked up “The Liberty Bell March” yet? Get why it would be inappropriate at a funeral? I heard that the US Marine Corps Band played it for Borat Osama’s inauguration. That seems appropriate. Remember how the Benito Mussolini, Fascist leader of the Italian Socialist government aligned with Hitler in WWII, was called “Il Duce?” Well, I want people to start calling Borat Osama, the Fascist leader who is trying to turn the USA into the USSA (United Socialist States of America), “Il Douche.” And as a final, parting note, which is redundant over and over again, I'd like to say, “Rest in peace, Mary Jo Kopechne. Your killer is finally dead too.”
