Yesterday when I said, “I may go ahead and assume John will be working late and forgo a rant tomorrow,” I meant, “I may go ahead and assume John will NOT be working late and forgo a rant tomorrow.” The difference being that if he is working late, we won't got to the shop and I could write a rant. Whereas if he isn't working late we would go to the shop and I won't write a rant. Obviously, that plan has gone out the window as I am obviously writing a rant. I should probably stop calling them rants as I don't seem to rant as much as ramble. Feh, like it matters. I think John and I are the only regular readers, with Pat and Kevin stopping in from time to time. I know George was reading it for a while because I'd hear that he’d go off on a rant of his own after I said something particularly inflammatory. I don't know if he’s still a reader of my work or not. I'll probably never know either. Anyhoo, let’s see, what is there to say? Oh, remember how I said I'd blown off lunch and dinner with mom on Saturday? Here’s what happened. Of course lunch happened while John and I were fiddling with Shichi and/or driving it to the house. As for dinner, mom and I were waffling about what we were going to do when Roger called to see if I wanted pizza again. I had been thinking pie so I told mom I was going to eat with Roger. We went to Parton’s Pizza on Cherry Lane again. I just looked back and noticed I didn't have much to say about the place when I mentioned it last week. Well, I guess I'll rectify that. OK, so there really isn't all that much to say. It is a tiny little hole-in-the-wall, mom and pop pizza joint with a buffet. For some reason I can really cram away slice after slice of their thin crust pie. It is dog-gone tasty, I must say. Hmm, I guess there really wasn't much of a story there after all. Good thing I'm not getting paid for this. You know, other than doing it on company time. Well, feh. I'm bored with y'all. I think solitaire is in order. OK, I'm going to sit and wait with the programmer who is programming (duh) the control system in the War Room. John and I may go see a movie or something. I'll let y'all know tomorrow.
