John and I went to see “The Invention of Lying” last night. I'm not going to pan it because I was broke and John paid. I will say he found it funnier than I did. Oh sure, there were a few laugh out loud moments, but for the most part... OK, here’s the deal, I had trouble suspending my disbelief. Now, what is really amazing me is how the religious fundies are NOT screaming their heads off about the film. It as much as says, “Religion is a lie.” But I'm not going to give any spoilers, save that veiled one there, about the film. It was OK, but I don't think I'll ever see it again. John pointed out that there are damned few “Romantic Comedies” which bear a second viewing. I had to agree. We then tried to think of any we’d seen more than once. I came up with none, unless we count “Raising Arizona” as a romantic comedy, and he only had “When Harry Met Sally.” I couldn't count that since I've only seen it once. Anyhoo, that’s what we did yesterday instead of going to the shop. Today they finished up in the War Room, and I'm ever so pleased. Mom is going to spend the night at my sister’s in Granbury so I'm on my own for dinner. Today is payday so I might go have bait for dinner. No, probably not, now that I think about it. I don't know, maybe. Well, it is now 1620 h so I think I'm going to call it a day. Toodles.
