Well, Blood Bath & Beyond didn't have the .45 ACP hollow point ammo I wanted but they did have it in 9mm. I wanted this particular brand because it is about half the price of most JHPs. I went ahead and bought 150 rounds of the 9mm and 100 rounds of Magtech JHPs in .45 ACP. I'm kind of glad they didn't have the .45 ACP in the cheap stuff once I saw what the bullets look like in 9mm. They are hollow point bullets, but just barely. Granted, I'd still rather not get shot with one, but they don't inspire me with the confidence a nice big “Flying Ashtray” hollow point does. I'd have to say these are halfway between ball ammo and a “real” hollow point. Anyhoo, it’ll still stop a zombie, I would imagine. OK, so remember how I didn't have anything to do this coming Saturday what with Navajo not coming to town and my engine not being ready? Well, John needs to work on that 510 in his garage so I'll probably load Nadine's wheels, tires, and inner tubes in Fifi and go hang out with him while he works on that. We’ll then take Nadine's rolling stock to John's Kreblechistani tire dude and see if he’ll mount them up during lunch. I'd like to install that electric fuel pump in Lil' Wiggly sometime, but not bad enough to actually crawl under the car. I don't have a block off plate for the mechanical pump yet anyway so I guess it is kind of moo. Well feh, I'm not getting any joy from talking to y'all today. I think I'm going to go play solitaire and maybe take a nap.
