This has been the busiest day I've had in months. Now I know it doesn't sound like a lot when I say I had six things on my schedule for today, but when most days have only one or two things, that’s a lot. Anyhoo, the point is, I've been busy today and it isn't over yet. OK, remember how I had to go rescue Pat in Not Texas the other day? Well, I didn't mention, but hinted to the fact, that he borrowed Fifi until the Saab was fixed. So I get a call from him last night, “Hey! Remember your truck?” I ask, “How bad is it?” Well, to make a short story long, I'm really glad we left the receiver hitch in place after dropping off the trailer. The lady who rear-ended Pat probably wishes we hadn’t but then she shouldn't have rear-ended him. He’s fine and the truck, so far as he could tell in the dark, is fine. He’s going to have the insurance people look at it just in case so I might be getting a check for the “damages.” We’ll see. Hmm, that story didn't take nearly as long as I'd hoped. We may have a really short rant today. I think I'm going to go to Automotive Machine and make a payment on Shichi's engine this evening. I could pay it off but that would break me for the rest of the month. What I really need to avoid, but won't, is the gun show this weekend. I'm afeared I'm going to buy one of those Kel-Tec Sub-2000 9mm folding carbines. I really want one. Of course I have also always wanted a lever action rifle, one of those in .45 Colt would sure be cool. Do I need either one? No. Can I justify either one? No. But I want one of each. Well, I don't know what will happen. We’ll just have to wait and see. So, here we are. What to say, what to say? Well, I've got nothin’ so I guess I'm going to stop trying. Have a day.
