Wow! I've been looking on line at stuff for the Saiga. Yeah, I know I was blubbering yesterday about being broke, doesn't mean I can't “window shop.” Anyhoo, I think I've found the replacement butt stock I want. It is, technically, a “thumb hole” stock since the bottom of the butt is connected to the bottom of the pistol grip. Yes, much like the stock on the Space Gun, thank you for noticing. OK, it looks nothing like the stock on the Space Gun, but it is the same “concept,” sort of. They call it “skeletonized” and it would get me a pistol grip, that’s the main point I'm trying to bring home here. I did find a few on e-Bay, which I can “afford” to buy because of a positive balance in my PayPal account, thank you John. Thing is, I'm not sure I really like the ones I can “afford.” Still, they are better than the straight “rifle stock” that is on there now. Not that there is anything wrong with the existing stock, but the other is just so much cooler looking. Of course the one I can “afford” throws it right in there with the “Evil Black Rifles” that the gun ban folks want to take away from us due to (tee hee, I said doo doo) the full-on pistol grip and adjustable stock. That’s another reason I think I'd like to go with the “skeletonized” stock. Besides, how friggin’ cool is the term “skeletonized?” Pretty friggin’ if you ask me. Oh, I also found some bitchin’ flash suppressor, muzzle guard things as well. Gotta have the faux door-breacher thing on there, now don't I? Finally, I think I'll get the optic mount and put one of those sights I bought for the Space Gun on there. I'll probably go with the newer of the two on the Saiga and leave the other on the Space Gun. Why? Because I can use the iron sights through the one on the Space Gun but the other blocks them. I think the optic mount for an AK/Saiga rides above the iron sights so they won't be blocked. Yep, this otter be a pretty bad ass looking gun when I'm done with it. It’d be nice if I had a place to shoot it. Oh well, watch out zombies.
