Yeah, the more I think
about it, the more I like the idea of George giving up the turbo engine to the
Spit’. I've just got to convince John
that we need to put the welded 4.11 1200 axle from George in the Spit.’ I'm also just about convinced that we do not
need to do the wide body on George unless we’re going with the VG engine. Why?
Well, because your face, that’s why!
No, here’s the real reason: I think the wide body needs to be stupid
fast to justify the effort… not to mention the audacity. The audacity?
I thought I told you NOT to mention the audacity! Anyhoo, what I mean is… well c’mon! The thing would be so super Bosozoku
ridiculous looking that it just has to be faster than shit to pull it off,
right? Also, the added 50 to 100 pounds
of steel, fiberglass, and whatnot to make the wide body happen just goes
against everything a 1200 is about… unless it has a ridiculous donk under the
hood of course. No, I think we need to
put the VG in the Chickenhawk, with its existing Omni flares and S-110 (200SX)
disc brake rear axle, and the KA in George with… aw crap. I just realized why that plan doesn’t
work. We still have to change George’s
rear axle out and anything we’d put in is wider than the axle coming out. Hmm, t’is a head scratcher. Well, I have to go across the street to help
set up a meeting. I may be back
later. We’ll see.
