Well, John did not call yesterday to talk me down from the turbo cliff. I sent him a text earlier asking for his opinion and as soon as I did I realized it wasn’t a text sort of discussion. Having said that, he replied back that he, “… ain't agin it.” I think the car would be fun with a naturally aspirated A-14, but it could be even more fun with the turbo. I don’t know, we’ll see. I've really got to get back in the Lil' Wiggly frame of mind. We need to finish that car before doing anything to any of the others or I fear it will get shoved to the back burner and never get back on the road. So, I decree that unless we are totally stumped for something to work on at the shop, we do not touch George until Lil' Wiggly is up and running. Well, short of stealing the remote battery stuff out of George of course. That can be done out in the parking lot where the car is parked though. I don’t see any need to bring it inside for that. Ok, so there’s all of that going on. Gregg just called again to ask what I was planning to do with all the conversion bits I took off of the Saiga 12 when I installed the Kushnapup. I tallied it up and finger I've got somewhere in the $350.00 to $400.00 range in parts. I told him I'd let him have it all for $350.00 which he haggled me down to $300.00, the price I really wanted for the stuff. I'll also sell him the 20-round drum magazine since I can't use it in the K-pup. I'll go get a few more 10-round stick mags with his money. I also offered the two 10-round drums to Larry for the price of two more sticks. I think he’ll gopher it. If that works out, I'll have six 10-round, four 5-round, and three 2-round mags for the shotgun. Bring on the zombies! I don’t remember if I mentioned bidding on twenty 7.62x39 10-round magazines on e-Bay but I lost both auctions. No biggie, I didn’t need to spend another $400.00 on more magazines right now anyway. I'll finish making the eight 30-round mags I have for it fit and look for more at the next gun show. Oh crap, that is this weekend. Why “Oh crap” you ask? Well, John asked if I wanted to go to the Goodguy’s Car Show on Saturday instead of the shop. I agreed to that. “Ok,” I hear you saying, “That still doesn’t explain the ‘Oh crap.’” Well, if we go to the car show on Saturday, then Larry and I go to the gun show on Sunday, I won't have any time to go to the shop for any gunsmithery. No John, I do not want to back out of the car show Saturday. Pat and Tony are going and I finger we’ll all meet up out there… somehow. Oh right, everyone has cell phones now. So I guess that’s THAT sorted… sort of thing. Ok, it is now 1605 h and I'm out of stuff to say. I guess I'll call it quits for the day.
