So I'm sitting here in the TOB waiting to test out a live meeting thing. I'm not really sure just how well, if at all, it is going to work. Well, we’ll see. The one consolation is the girl I'm meeting for the test is... yummy, to say the least. So, I've got that going on. As for other stuff... I got nothin’. Did I tell the story of getting the phone call from the shop on Sunday? I see that I did, but I left out some of the story. See, the fire extinguisher guy came for an inspection the other day and tripped in Marty’s shop then couldn't get into Boat Man’s shop at all. It pissed him off to say the least. Fortunately, almost, my shop is small enough that the one extinguisher outside suffices and he didn't have to go in there. Unfortunately, he was pissed off enough about the others that he called in the fire marshal. HE did go into my shop and was not pleased with the piles of junk. We were told to clean it up. He’s coming back but we don't know when. I cannot afford a ticket from the fire marshal. We have to clean the shop on Saturday. So it looks like another week added to Lil' Wiggly's recovery time. Which also means another week of Nadine sitting outside. Oh well, not like that car’s going to get much worse for wear. I should never have taken on that project. There, I said it. Again. Oh well, what are you going to do? So, what else is there? Oh, I'd been thinking about taking the 7.62x39 Saiga to the next gun show and trying to sell it. “WHAT?” I hear you saying. “But why?” Well, for one thing, I can't find a place to shoot it. The one range I know of, at least the one I've asked about using, won't let me use the ammo I own because there is steel in the bullet. I think it is just a steel jacket but they don't want to run the risk of it being a steel core “armor piercing” round. I'm sure it isn't, not with friggin’ hollow points! Anyhoo, so I can't shoot it. We got that. Also, every time I pick it up and shoulder the thing, it is just plain uncomfortable. But I have fingered out the problem. The optics are too high. I removed them and “played” with it again. It is much better now. I think I'll keep it after all. Well, Ms. Shoop and Co are here so I'd better go.
