I had a doctor’s appointment yesterday so I didn't even bring my laptop to work. It was a bit weird not having it though. I don't think I'll be doing that again. OK, I wonder if I can make the word processor’s auto correct function act like the Dingleberry’s keyboard. What I'd like is to be able to hit a double-space and have it automatically put a period to end a sentence. Hang on, let me try something. OK, that didn't work. Damn. I think I know a way to... no, that wouldn't work either now that I think about it. I was going to say, “I think I know a way to capitalize like the Dingleberry does,” but realized... well, you read it, it wouldn't work. So, the doctor’s appointment. He liked my glucose level, he liked my cholesterol levels, he liked that I'd lost a few pounds, and he said my prostate was good. Yeah, for the first time since I've been seeing this doctor, he gave me the finger. Then he asked when I'd last had a tetanus shot. Unfortunately I couldn't remember so he had the nurse jab me with a needle. The shot didn't hurt but... um, the shot does. I mean, the needle part of the shot didn't hurt but now I'm all sore in the left arm from the medication. I hate tetanus shots. I'm sure I'll feel all flu-like here pretty soon. I always do. In fact, I do have a few aches I can't account for. Um, “For which I cannot account,” I mean. Well, what to say now? Oh, the Japanese Old School car thing is going to be at some dude’s house this month. John gave me the address in an e-mail and asked if we were meeting there or following one another out. I'm not going into the details but I think we’ll be meeting, if not there, then somewhere once our two paths converge. I guess I ort to look up the address and print out a map before I go home tomorrow. In fact, I'm going to do it now. OK, I have a map and I think I'll be able to find the place. Oh, yesterday when I was about to head home, I went to open Ms. Clio's sunroof. It made a horrible grinding noise. When I hit the button to close it again, it went past closed and into the flip-up position then back down and tried to open again until it made the grinding noise. I got it stopped in the closed position and called Nissan. I dropped the car at the service department and had mom pick me up. Unfortunately, the warranty ran out in January. If it looks like it is going to be an expensive fix, I'll have them shut it and disconnect the switch. So this morning I stop to fill Fifi's tank and when I go to take off, it make a weird stumble I've never experienced before. It felt like... I don't know, like the tires were slipping then when they got traction the engine bogged. It did it twice in succession too. I suppose I might have been a little light on the gas and bogged it, but I'm not sure. It was odd. If that vehicle fails, I'm down to driving The Seven... and that won't be fun if the weather turns nasty. Well, we’ll see I guess. And on that note...
