July 20, 2011

Bleh. I just don't give a shit... about pretty much anything and everything right now. Perhaps it’s the heat, I don't know. I've been thinking about Lil' Wiggly and how that project has stagnated. I've got to get back in there and finish that car up. The dash part of the project is what’s bugging me right now. I'm just not excited about digging through all those wires and shit to finish the work. OK, to be perfectly honest, it is the gas gauge that is bugging me. I'm not at all confident that it is going to work. The only other AutoMeter gas gauge I ever installed on a stock sender was in George and, if I remember correctly, it didn't work right. Think to come of it, the AM gas gauge I installed in the Chickenhawk never worked right either. Hmm. On the other hand, the gauge in The Seven is fine, but it has an AutoMeter sending unit. Feh, there’s really no point in agonizing over it here. The damned thing is thirty miles away from me at the moment. I guess what we’ll plan on doing is... fuck, I don't know. I guess maybe I'll see if John is willing to crawl under the car and install the fuel pump while I... no, I guess I'll crawl under the car while he works under the hood to finish up stuff there. Then, perhaps on my own on Sunday, or later Saturday afternoon, I'll get back to work on the dash project. I think I want to take those seats out and put in one or the other pair of blue seats we have. No, wait. I'll leave the leather seats in Lil' Wiggly for now and put the blue seats I got back from Gregg in John's B-210 when I get hold of it. Yes, then if the mood strikes me that I need racier seats in Lil' Wiggly, I'll swap the leathers into George and put the blue Corbeaux in Lil' Wiggly. Yes, “Corbeaux” would be the plural of “Corbeau.” No, perhaps I'll save the leather seats for... wait for it... keep waiting... I'm almost ready to say it... here it comes... just a little bit more... hang on... Nadine. Hmm? What do you think about that? Yeah, I thought that might just blow your mind a little bit. So now the question is: does George or Lil' Wiggly get the Corbeaux? Of course there is already one Corbeau fading away in George as we speak so it might behoove me to just go ahead and finish that installation. Yeah, I guess that does make the most sense. Oh crap, I totally forgot about putting the blue recliners in John's B-210. Hmm. Well now I'm at a loss again. I guess I otter just do like I did with the van and “Dance with the one what brung me” by leaving the leather seats in Lil' Wiggly, putting the other Corbeau in George, and putting the recliners in... John's B-210 needs a name damn it! I also seem to remember we were going to do some sort of “Bomber Seat” in Nadine anyway. Now, having said all of that, putting the leather seats in the slush-box car, aka John's B-210, makes a little sense in that it isn't going to be as racy as Lil' Wiggly therefore should have the “nice” leather seats. The corollary being that Lil' Wiggly is racier and therefore should have the racier seats. But that sounds like a lot of work. I don't know, we’ll see. OK, I'm tired of talking about this so...
