Holy crap! I'm not sure there could be any more typos than I had yesterday. Well, unless Juan were talking about LOL Cat Speak. But I digress... already. Anyhoo, as they are wont to do, things have changed a couple times since we last spoke. Yesterday, I was supposed to go with John to get his Gold Wing in Not Texas, right? Well, I get a call from him saying he’s not going to get that one but the one in Useless, or somewhere. We do meet to get the bill of sale for my bike notarized so I can move forward with getting a title for it. Oh, I also bought his B-210 at some point. Probably otter mention that some time, I guess. So there’s that going on. Um, let’s see... what else is there to say? Oh right, he showed me some pictures of what he has in mind for the Gold Wing and I have to say it is pretty damned awesome. In fact, it is so awesome that he found one already mostly done for me to buy. I was planning to do just that when I get an e-mail from him saying the douche-nozzle had already sold it but hadn't taken the ad down. I was disappointed and relieved. Disappointed because it was a cool-assed bike. Relieved because I really don't need a) another project (albeit a mostly finished one), and 2) A 1,000cc bike right now as a newbie. I told John that is is probably for the best that I don't buy a ‘Wing just yet. I'll ride Bobbi for the time being and get used to being a biker then when I'm ready, maybe, gopher a bigger bike. Hell, I might not even do it once I get the newness of having a bike out of my system. I might find it ain’t fer me. I don't know, we’ll see. As for the guns, I changed up my storage situation at the house. I found a filing cabinet in the garage with an empty drawer. Into that I loaded all the ammo... well, most of the ammo. I kept some upstairs near the actual guns, just in case. Next I took all of the guns out of the cabinet and began looking at how they could be arranged. I fingered if I mounted the little divider thingy that is supposed to keep the guns off each other and the back wall down lower, I could stand the shorter weapons up against it. This I did. Now I have the 10/22 in one corner, the Auto-5 next to it, then the Saiga 12, and the 7.62x39 all leaning against the high mounted divider. Next is the new riot pump (called Mossy by the way), then the Beretta 9mm Storm Carbine, the .45 Colt Lever Gun, and finally the U.N.C.L.E. Carbine all up against the lower divider hoozis. Tucked in behind the two Saiga butts is the case with the U.N.C.L.E. Pistol(s) on the floor. Now, the way I have the two Saigas set up I can mount a flashlight to the fore end and operate it with my thumb. Of course there isn't room to leave it attached to either gun when they are tucked into the cabinet so I had to think of some way to store it as well. I mounted a section of Picatinny rail to the inside of the door and hung the light there. Now I can grab it and mount it on whichever gun I'm going to use on the zombies at that time. I tested the light on the top rail of the Storm but the knobs were right in the line of sight. If I were to flip it it would be fine, but then would be on the wrong side of the Saigas. I guess I'll burn that bridge when I come to it, if I ever need to do a night patrol with the Storm. So, there’s all the gun news for now. I mentioned buying John's B-210 above. You might be asking, “So, what are you planning to do with it?” or more appropriately, “What the hell is wrong with you?” As for the second question, yeah, it’s a sickness. Unfortunately, I don't really have an answer for the first question. I'll probably just have it to hoon in. We’re talking about doing a five-speed swap. We'll see. It might behoove me to have another slush-box car as an emergency backup for mom. She actually drove the automatic 510 one time when she couldn't get her car out of the garage for some reason. Again, I don't know, we’ll see. Well, I'm bored talking to y'all so I'm going to stop.
