Happy VD everyone!  And with that out of the way, we’ll move on.  So, apparently I'm an idiot.  I was on the Speedway Motors website earlier looking at headers for Lil' Wiggly.  While there, I thought, “What the hell?  Let’s go look at the Track T kits again.”  I added the Track T kit, front suspension kit, front spindle kit, front brake kit, and steering kit to my wish list… just in case.  See, I'm now thinking about building a Track T for my fiftieth birthday.  Yes, I do have too many other projects on my plate already.  Remember the “I'm an idiot” bit up above?  So, when I told John about this latest dumb idea, he said something to the effect of, “It only makes sense if you sell The Seven.”  Yeah, that ain't happening.  I countered with, “I could sell Fiona and start driving Fifi.”  He agreed that that was one way I could go.  Then I did the math.  I could essentially give myself a $650.00 a month raise by getting rid of that car, what with the loan, insurance, gas and such.  No, Fifi doesn’t get that much better mileage, in fact it is probably worse, but if I'm not filling BOTH cars up all the time, I'd be saving some money.  If we finger I fill Fiona once a week and Fifi once a month, we’d change that to Fifi once a week and Fiona not at all.  There’s $75.00 a month at least.  I told John about doing the math and he asked if Fiona was now “dead to me.”  Rest assured, it is not.  I went out to Fiona to drop off my jacket after lunch just now… yeah, that IS one bitchin’ ride.  I'll bounce the idea off of mother this evening.  Of course this assumes I can sell Fiona for enough to pay it off.  Kelly Blue Book on the car is questionable in that regard.  I suppose I could post it somewhere and see what happens.  Ok, let me rephrase that, I suppose JOHN could post it somewhere and see what happens.  Then again, if I were willing to sacrifice my credit rating, I could just give it to the credit onion!  Yeah, that ain't happening either.  I just offered it to John, half in jest… ok, maybe ¼ in jest.  He said, “Evil is what you are.”  Tee hee.  I don’t expect that to come to anything, but Juan never knows.  The big question would be: could I stand to see my ex being driven by someone else all the time. [ Doubtful. - SM ]  Hmm, for $650.00 a month, I think I could learn to live with it.  I'm not going to go into a whole bit about how the car isn’t this, or I'm not really into it because of that… because it would sound like a) I'm trying to justify it or 2) um, I forgot what “2” was.  I did have a second reason but it shot out of my head whilst typing the rest of the sentence.  Maybe it was a “dead to me” thing… I don’t know.  Anyhoo, on paper the idea makes sense, just making it a reality is the issue.  So, what else is there to talk about?  I mentioned headers for Lil' Wiggly up above, right?  Well, here’s that story, such that it is.  John has posted a buildthread about the car on Ratsun… or something like that.  We’ve linked to it in the past.  Anyhoo, the question of headers came up and John posted a picture of some really cool looking ones.  Someone, maybe John, posted a link to Speedway Motors for a set of block hugger headers which look nice too.  I'm not sure if they are the same ones as the picture, they don’t look exactly the same.  So, I clicked on the link to Speedway and had a look at them and I think they are the ones I'm going to buy.  I'm still holding off until we have the engine hanging in the car though, just in case we discover some serious interference issue.  Oop!  I just got an urgent call from bomber command!  I've got to go fly a mission over the Dresden Porcelain Works!  Shall we call this a rant then?  Yes, I think we shall.
