Well, my cell phone is eligible for an upgrade tomorrow.  I'm not sure if I'm going to up- or downgrade though.  I might take a look at Dingleberry’s newest answer to the “Belly Button” i-Phone… and I may not.  I have heard good things about the Dingleberry i-Phone, but I'm just not sure.  I may have mentioned it in the past, but I hate technology when it doesn’t work right… which is every piece of technology eventually.  I'm just about ready to go back to a true “Dumb Phone” again.  I don’t know, we’ll see.  Well, since John is going to be working on his 610 at home Saturday, I think Larry and I will go to the gun show and pick up our Saiga 12s from the Russian.  Here’s what I would like to plan on doing.  We’ll go to the show first thing in the morning, pick up our guns, go to Elk Castle to test them, and then decide what we’re going to do with the rest of our day.  Of course if the guns won't cycle ammo after their tune-ups, we’ll go straight back to the gun show and have a chat with the Russian.  I'm confident that they will be fine, but we want to have plenty of time to try them out while the Russian is in town.  I imagine that if… no, WHEN the guns work fine, we’ll “swing by” Beenbroke so I can show Larry the Mini.  I suppose we could go back to the gun show and finish shopping there, but I'd rather go back on Sunday to peruse the thing at our leisure.  I'm sure that after Larry and I part ways at the credit onion I'll head up to see how John is coming along on the 610.  Well, I need to go fly a bombing mission right quick.  I'll be back.  Ok, I'm back.  And now I've got nothing to say.  I don’t want to… aw hell, who am I kidding?  Of course I want to talk about the Mini.  So we’re thinking that we might just rebuild the BMC engine and go with a mostly stock setup.  I'm not against that idea, it will be a lot cheaper than doing the Honduh swap, but will the car be fast/fun enough?  Ok, there’s no doubt it wouldn’t be all that fast with the BMC engine, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be a ton of fun… fun on a bun… sort of thing.  Hmm, I really need to finish Lil' Wiggly before going all hog-wild on the Mini.  I am being good… sort of.  I have yet to buy anything for the car.  Of course we will need the wheels and tires soon, I will buy them.  I think I've decided that I'm going to get the cheap-assed 12” wheels from Northern just to make the car a roller.  We’ll keep them around as spares or something.  I'm not going to commit myself to the ultra badass 10” wheels, even though I really like them and think they might just be the bee’s knees on the car when finished… and I've lost my train of thought.  Anyhoo, suffices to say, I won't be getting them for rolling porpoises.  Ok, I think the best course of action for that car is to have it at John's house where he can tart up the bodywork at his leisure.  It won't help me in situations like this where I'm sitting at work thinking about all the stuff I want to do to the car, but it will probably keep me from actually turning wrenches on it before its turn.  Well, I guess I don’t have anything else to say today.  I'm going to call it a rant and go to lunch.
