8/4/10
I just got an e-mail confirming that my 1,000 rounds of 7.62x39 ammo is en route. The unfortunate thing is, it will require a signature. Mom’s cousin Teddie will be in town from Colorado the rest of the week and I think they are planning to go to my sister’s tomorrow or Friday. Crap crap crapity crap crap. Well, all I can do is hope it arrives when she’s there and willing to sign for it. OK, I understand the requirement of a signature, but it sure does make this transaction... inconvenient. Meh, what are you going to do? So, Gregg keeps calling me to tell me what a great car Lil' Wiggly is. It is starting to get on my nerves. I'm beginning to think I didn't ask enough for it. Meh, what are you going to do? Did I mention that I'm thinking about the pave stone driveway around to the back patio again? Well, I am. I think if I cap off, or more likely have capped off, the few sprinkler heads in the back by the patio, pave over all that dirt area to extend the patio out to the edge of the house, and pave two “runners” to straddle the pop-up sprinklers in the middle of the yard, I could get this done relatively cheap and easy. Of course that assumes pave stones are cheaper than having concrete poured. Hmm, perhaps I need to call Pat's contractor buddy again for another quote. Meh, what are you going to do? Since that seems to be the theme for the day, I think I'm going to heed its general sentiment and shut up for a bit. Well, nothing new has come up worth mentioning. I guess I'm just going to have to leave y'all with another, “Meh, what are you going to do?”
