Holy crap! I wrote yesterday’s rant and it didn't even make sense to me! I need to proofread better. There were way too many unreferenced, or improperly referenced pronouns in there. First off, using the four-speed in Lil' Wiggly is NOT a condition of me buying the car back. Buying the hot rod A-14 is the condition of which I was speaking. Next, I spoke of using the hot rod engine in the N600 on the VW transaxle then said I'd stick it in front of the four-speed without letting y'all know I was shifting my attention back to Lil' Wiggly. Of course the typo “dint” should have been “don’t.” I hate typos. I hate typos more when they are mine. I hate my typos more than I hate computers. Grr. I confused myself a little more when I said something about having more time on the sale of a car but not wanting to leave someone hanging. Every pronoun except the “we” in that group of sentences referred to Jeff. “We” would be me and Gregg. I guess I should start using brackets for my in-sentence asides instead of commas. See, I didn't do it then because it was its own sentence. As was that one. There are more errors but I'm tired of looking for and correcting them. On to new business. I got nothing. But I'll try to fight through as long as possible. John asked me why I wanted to use the rotary in Nadine. I didn't really have a better answer than, “Trying to think of a suitable car for it that isn't a 1200.” Yes, I know a rotary powered 1200 is stupid fast, but I've railed against it so many times I just can not bring myself to even entertain the notion. Although, Herman is just shitty and ugly enough that I think I might be able to do it to him. Oh, I just had another thought about the N600. We would need a very narrow rear axle for it, right? What do we have with the narrowest axle? Nadine! If we swapped in a Datsun axle in Nadine, we’d have a narrow live axle for the RWD rotary N600. Just a thought. We won't be doing that, by the way. I don't know what we will wind up doing, but I'm pretty sure the Triumph axle will stay in Nadine. Hmm, I just had a though against the rotary in Nadine. Rotaries sound phenomenally stupid. The KA would make Nadine sound much better. I don’t really care if the N600 sounds stupid, the whole car is kind of stupid to begin with. OK, so I might be convincing myself that a rotary N600 is a good idea. What I need to do is forget about it and concentrate on the current project. I need to finish Nadine first. After Nadine I really ought to finish George. After George... well, all bets are off because the rest of the projects are equally “back burner” at this point. All right, I have to go pee and there is a meeting at 1030 h I need to help set up so I'm going to shut the rant down for a bit. And I'm back. So I've been “shopping” for a mobile home to put at one end of the Boyd shop. I found one floor plan I particularly like. Of course what I wind up with will depend on what is available at the time I actually get my act together and make this happen. I'm thinking two bedrooms and two baths so that my friends would have a place to bunk in the event we plan a full weekend of car stuff. What I need to do is find out whether it would be cheaper to plop a mobile home on the foundation and build the shop around it or build the “apartment” as part of the shop construction. I can see it going either way. Well, this is getting me nowhere. I guess I'll call it a rant and go hang out with Larry Shuttlebus for a while and then go home. Yeah, that’s what I'm going to do.
