I was going to ‘splain all the references to “Mel Junior” on Monday. But now I don't feel like it. Suffices to say, my nephew married his mother. We'll leave it at that. OK, John found Brookland screens on e-Bay for $125.00, and some on Victoria British for $99.00, whereas I found some on a British site for 55 Pounds Sterling. That comes out to something shy of eighty dollars. Oh, that is each, by the way. Then there’s shipping. I imagine the VB units for $99.00 will be the best buy and in fact will probably be the way I go. So, with the prospect of two bills going into Nadine's budget, I might need to tap the brakes on buying any more guns. I mean really, I already have a 12 gauge shotgun and we all know I'm not going hunting so a Saiga 12 and Mosin Nagant are both super-flu-us. Of course, having said that, a Saiga 12 and Mosin Nagant are both really cool. Damn it! I had myself talked out of them. I probably ort to forgo the gun shows from now on just to avoid the temptation, but I want to see my ammo guy and refill my supply of .45 Colt and 9mm. Oh, and there’s the Saiga 12 Gregg wants to buy for his father for Christmas. That is where I'm going to have the most temptation. Well, we’ll see. I don't really have anything else to say, and it is 1630 h, so I guess we’ll just call it a short rant and be done with it.
