Well, y'all might be getting more long and rambling rants from me from now on. You see, I appear to have overstepped my allocation of inter-google time at work. I seem to be blocked from accessing many of the websites I used to be able to look at. What’s weird though is that I was just now able to watch a Top Gear story (the real BBC version, not the watered-down [read: suck ass] American version) Pat sent a link to in an e-mail. Kooky. I'm not about to rock any boats though. I have spent quite a bit of time on the google-coms these last few weeks. I ain’t denying it. Meh, what are you going to do? On the plus side, it will keep me from shopping for gun stuff. Of course it will also keep me from shopping for car stuff. Hmm, oh well. The gist of what I'm saying is that I won't be able to waste time smurfing the coms to kill time. So, what do I have to talk about? Well, Tuesday after work I went to Gregg's to take him another $200.00 of the money I owe him on the Lil' Wiggly purchase. He just bought a Miata and wanted me to drive it. It was really cool. He done good on that purchase. I didn't flog it like he wanted me to, mainly because I was in a residential area. The one turn I took almost, but not quite, at an irresponsible speed, the car tracked really well and pulled away nicely. It is quite a good car, I think. It makes me wish I'd taken a look at it before telling Gregg about it. No, I couldn't have afforded it nor do I really need something like that. Anyhoo, while we were chatting, after the drive, the subject of Chump Car and/or 24 Hours of Lemons racing came up. There are a couple events coming to the area this next year and I think we need to go check them out. All of a sudden, for some reason, I spouted off that I only have $175.00 invested in the Spitfire. Of course that just lit Gregg's fuse. He’s all hot and heavy to build a Chump/Lemons car out of it now. I'm not sure I'm ready to commit to it, but we’ll see. OK, now I'm really confused on the whole google-web thing here. I just checked the two websites for Chump Car and 24 Hours of Lemons and was able to access and read them. I wonder if it just locked me out of the few sites I was spending too much time on. I don't know and I'm not going to investigate it today. In fact, I think I'm just about done with this place for today. Yes, yes I am.
