2/10/11

Frerbrurary 10, 2011 I'm not really sure why I'm even trying to talk to y'all today. I got nothin’. I did finally hear back from John about the Chump Car race at Eagle’s Canyon this weekend. He’s out. So, it looks like we’ll be working on B-210s at the shop Saturday. Huzzah! We need to get his emergency/parking brake working and, of course, the headlights on mine. I'm hoping that once we isolate all the stock headlight stuff on my car and rewire it, my gremlins will die a painful death. I'm jealous as hell that John has a running/driving B-210 while mine languishes. Of course once they are both on the road it will just be a matter of time before one or both of us wants more power. John, I believe, is thinking KA-24 now. Hmm, I guess I'll just have to jump right to VG-33 then. How do you like them apples? That’ll learn him. Of course I won't do that unless he’s on board with the plan. Then again, the V-6 might be an easier install in a B-210 than in a 1200, like the Chickenhawk for instance. I know, I'll jump straight to a small block Ford V-8 in Lil' Wiggly! No, Barbecue Bob has the engine bay for a V-8. Not to mention that Ron Griffin radiator fits so damned well in Barbecue Bob making a V-8 all the more enticing. I'll bet we could get a 5.0 with a slush-box in and running pretty quickly and (relatively) cheaply. Hmm. John, how much were those Explorer 5.0 engines you were talking about? You know, the ones with the good cylinder heads? Wait, I've got too many other projects in line ahead of that one. Well, technically they have all CUT in line ahead of Barbecue Bob so Juan could argue this line of reasoning is sound. Oh Juan. You silly boy. Well, I really ort to go re-install this projector I just got back from service. I guess I'll go do that. Of course I won't becoming back up to my office so y'all are going to have to settle for a short rant today. Better than nothing I suppose. Or is it? Hmm.
