Frerbrurary 25, 2011 Just ten more months until Christmas! And it will be on us before we know it, I assure you. Anyhoo, I just wanted to drop in and say, “Woo hoo! The system works!” If you will remember, Wednesday I said I'd ordered the fuel level gauge for Lil' Wiggly and had it sent Next Day Air. When I got home last night there was an e-mail confirming that my order had been placed. It went on to say that I would get a follow up e-mail the morning after the product ships. That I didn't like. Well, this morning I got the “your order has shipped” e-mail which had a link to the tracking number system with FedEx. I clicked on it. To make a short story long, my fuel level gauge is on its way to Hawaii. Just kidding, it has been sitting on my front porch since 0900 h. Well, it’s either there or mom has brought it inside. So, my plan for tomorrow is this: get up, go to Lowe’s, buy some sheet metal, go to the shop, make my dash, install and wire my gauges, reinstall the dash frame in the car, and finally hoon it! I noticed a FaceBuick update by John's wife the other day lamenting how sick he was. At least I think she was talking about him. Anyhoo, the point is, I'm not sure if he’ll be joining me at the shop. We'll see. Either way, my plan is as above. We'll see what actually goes down though. On another note, I was thinking that one of the DLR Datsuns needs an “ANTWON” license plate. Cuz they be rapin’ everyone up in here! So... on that note, I guess I'll call it a week. Behead da Pitt.
