I didn't think I was going to have a rant today because I just didn't get around to it. Turns out a group wanted a projector from 1600-1700 h this afternoon so I'm sitting outside a meeting room waiting for them to finish. Of course I don't have anything to say. Hmm, let’s see... Oh, I know. John called this morning with a generous offer too good to refuse. He made the point that if he didn't have his car at the shop, he couldn't work on it at the expense of my car. His offer to me was, “If I would drive across town and pick him up in the morning, we could get a bunch of stuff done on Lil' Wiggly. Oh, and on the way home we can pick up a 510 rear suspension at a junkyard.” OK yes, I am making it sound like he’s taking advantage of me. His proposal was much more eloquent. And I have agreed to do it. So, I guess we’ll yank Lil' Wiggly's engine in the morning. Woo hoo! It is taking all my will to not ask about the L-series in the junkyard 510 though. We have settled on the Super Hot Rod A-14 with dual DCOE type carburetors for Lil' Wiggly. It will be the easiest swap to do and will probably be faster than a stock L-16 anyway. I need to stick with the plan. Of course it would be easier if we had the carburetors, but I'm not going to get any more passive/aggressive than that about them... for now. At least I'm going to TRY to not get any more P/A about it. I apologize in advance for it John, sorry. I guess since I've busted John's balls twice now in this short rant, I ort to thank him again for being my Spiderman and posting these things for me. Thank you for being my Spiderman and posting these things for me, John. I really do appreciate it. Well, feh. I don't have anything else to say so I guess I'm going to call it a rant. Yes, it is a rant.
