Well, Ms. Clio is back from the shop. I saw/heard a Mini with a zorst drive by yesterday and it made me miss the old girl. When I called Nissan they service guy said, “Come get it!” so I did. Yeah, I really like that car. Is it as fast as the Subaru was, no. Does it handle as well as the Subaru, no. Do I love it as much as I loved the Subaru... um, hmm, I'm afeared I'm going to have to say no as well. But I really do dig that little bastard quite a bit. It’s just that the Subaru was such an all around bad ass car. Oh well, water under the bridge at this point. No John, I do not want to buy the Subaru back from your brother. It just wouldn't be the same after the fire and with all the stock crap he put back on it. I stand by my decision to walk away from that car. OK, so hopefully we’ll be able to clean the shop sufficiently tomorrow and get back to work on Lil' Wiggly. I hated driving Fifi to the Japanese car thing on the first but there was no way I was driving The Seven in that weather. If I'd had Lil' Wiggly though, I'd have had no problem. Probably. I really want to get that car going again. Oh yeah, speaking of Fifi, the “Service Engine Soon” light came on yesterday morning. I need to get that looked at sometime. I'll probably swing by O’Reilley’s or the Boys of Pep tomorrow after we clean the shop. Yeah, I think I have that tuning thing Pat gave me, and I think it will run codes, but I'm too lazy to finger it out. Hmm, you know what, I don't remember putting the gas cap back on last time I filled up. How many days will the thing drive without a cap before it throws a code? I guess I could check that first. Oops, I gotta go take the kids to the pool right quick. Oh man, that left more skid-marks than a NASCAR race. I feel sorry for the cleaning crew who have to scrape that bowl down. Yikes! So anyhoo, yeah, I guess it is possible that I forgot to put the gas cap back on Fifi when I filled the tank last. But I think that was last Friday and I've driven the damned thing every day since then. I hope that is all the light is about... but I doubt it. No, it’s going to be something expensive I'm sure. Oh well, no point worrying about it. So I guess that’s about all I've got for today. I'm going to call it a rant and go home.
