Well, it looks like John and I are going to Sachse this afternoon/evening to, at least, look at Edna. I'll be bringing cash and may be driving my “new” van home tonight. We'll see. OK, remember how the thought of buying this van makes me dumb? Well, I guess shopping for hot rod parts already makes me down right retarded. I've found cold-air intake kits, performance tuning modules, headers and zorst systems for it already. I haven’t bought anything yet, but I'm sure as hell tempted. Of course the first thing it needs is a receiver hitch and trailer lights. Next it needs a partition behind the seats. After that, I’m not sure where I'll go with it. Probably I'll take it to Steve/John and have a zorst built with a better “Y” pipe. Apparently the Ford “Y” pipe is very poorly designed and is quite restrictive. Oh hey, I just remembered I have that two-in/two-out muffler sitting on the floor of the shop! Maybe I'll have Steve/John build me some duals using that muffler. Hmm, side pipes anyone? No, I'll probably go with dual side exit pipes. I might have to buy a catalytic converter or two for that project though. Hmm, hopefully the cats are ahead of the “Y” pipe. It doesn't look good from my perusal of the intergooglewebs. Well, we’ll see I guess. OK, I am going to go to the Viewing Gallery to meet the service guy and hopefully get that room working properly again. After that, we’re off to Sachse! Of course, by the time y'all read this I will have either bought it or been talked down from that cliff. I'll let you know tomorrow. Toodles!
